Lost in Thought: The Hidden Pleasures of an Intellectual Life by Zena Hitz

I admit I read this one and loved it because it was self indulgent.

I loved the author's voice and appreciated how she addressed the issues that come up between learning for pleasure and the societal expectations of what knowledge is "supposed to do".

While I don't share the same interests as the author, at least as far as reading material, I loved reveling in a thorough and thoughtful discussion.
